You don't have to replace the pistons and rings every year in a 2 stroke or every 15 hours i have friends who had 2 storkes and never lost compresion and they had the bike for 3 or 4 years never opened the motor. It all depends if u want to or not if you race the bike all the time you should replace the rings and pistons, thats for to keep the bike working at top performance to get u on the podium but if you only use the bike on the weekends you wont have to the most i would just check the compresion every so often and if yor bike is losing compresion then change the rings you shouldnt open the motor unless there is a absoulte need too About Us
